About me:
My name is Ron. I was born in 1963 in a town Helmond in the Netherlands.
My musical taste developed when i was about 15-16 years old. The only music is listened to in that time was music from the radio which all sucked. The first bands i like where Status Quo, Cheap Trick and Deep Purple.
The first record i bought were from these 3 bands. In the late 70's and early 80's i really got into Heavy Metal.
I started to listen to Saxon, Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath.
The first concert i went to was the Aardschok concert in the Effenaar Eindhoven.
The Line-up at this concert was: Impact (NL), VanDale, Crossfire, Picture.
After my first concert i was already hooked, seeing lots of shows later on like: Satan, Jaguar, Anvil, Mercyful Fate,
H-Bomb, Tokyo Blade, Warlock, Sortilége, Metallica and a lot more.
The year 1983 was the most important year for me music wise. This was the year of Thrash Metal where lots of new bands came along and alot of albums were released, from this point on i was officially a Thrasher!
On this page i will let you see which bands influenced me in Heavy Metal, Thrash Metal and Speed Metal.
I hope you guys will like it!
